Democrats: Pick a StancePosted by: tobyismI’m not sure what Democrats are looking for. They call for more minorities in posistions of power. In the Bush administration alone there were two great intellectuals both who happen to be black, Colin Powell and Condy. What did the democrats say to these appointments? Uncle Toms. Stooges for the Republicans. Not “Wow, what an inspiration to have such great minds in places of power in an administration that we don’t like.” No no no. They are just silly puppets and little else, right? Now with Sarah Palin, we have a woman who could be Vice President of the United States of America. As far as I’m concered, her sex has little to do with anything. But the Democrats are making it an issue, calling McCain out for picking her just because she has ovaries. Personally, I think it was a brilliant move. Obama and the rest of the Democrats have spent much too much time focusing on her, making her an issue rather than sticking to their ‘guns’ (God forbid that). I’ve seen plenty of comments on various blogs or pundits on the shows saying “Am I supposed to vote for Palin simply because she’s a woman? How insulting.” No. Her credientials have been laid bare before us for some time now. Like them or not, think they are valid or not, they are there. That, and the forthcoming interviews and debates, are why you should or should not vote for McCain. The people that question her NOT killing her child with down syndrome are regrettable to say the least. A woman’s right to choose is what the Democrats want right? She chose to have it. You wanted, you got it. The people who ask why she isn’t at home tending to her flock of kids of varying ages while she is being a politician. Shame on you. You surely have no clue of the history of your party, the rights your parents fought for and won. You should be ashamed of yourselves for this pathetic attack. As for the Obama Pig comment. Its fine, he rides his high horse when he wants to, and he rolls in the mud when he wants to. He’s a politican. But when McCain uses a line like “the pot calling the kettle black” when refering to Obama questioning Palins history.. well, we’ll just see how that goes over with your crowd. |
